We keep the Polynesian and South American
culture, costumes, dances and traditional songs as our ancestors
gave it to us.
We teach our children the culture, traditions
and customs, as was given to us by our parents. We know they will
passé to our grandchildren as had been done for generations.
We cannot always build the future for
our children, but we can build our children for the future. The
future simple won't change in the way we need it until something
is done about the present. Ramon Eduardo when was aboard the School
Ship Esmeralda sailed around the Pacific Islands, starting from
the Easter Island in the south to the Hawaiian Islands in the North.
This was a great opportunity for him to
see the wonderful Polynesian cultures in the South Pacific islands.
His grandfather was always telling him amazing tales about the Islands
habitants. If we have no peace today, it is because we have forgotten
that we belong to each other.
Many persons have a wrong idea of what
constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification
but through fidelity to a worthy purpose. A mother is the truest
friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when
adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice
with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around
us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts
and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace
to return to our hearts.
